TOP Network Biweekly Report: May 13— May 26

Hey Toppers!!!

Welcome to the latest edition of the bi-weekly report. First and foremost, the total number of TOP tokens being staked has exceeded 600 million. Plus, the total trading volume crossed 1.6 billion on May 20. This indicates that our community members have recently purchased a lot of TOP to stake in our ecosystem, which is great news. Activity Review

On May 19, 9:30 am, our co-founder Noah Wang talked about two of the hottest topics in the crypto space during a live broadcast — Bitcoin Halving and Telegram shutting down its TON project.

Regarding halving, Noah said:

“Public chain projects should be fully prepared in terms of technology and products before the halving event. They should be well-equipped to take advantage of the market momentum and push their tech to be implemented in various industries.”

On Bitcoin Pizza day, May 22, our TOP Ladies did a pizza-eating contest in the live broadcast room. The ladies took the opportunity to interact with our community members and are looking forward to interacting more in the near future.

Technical Progress

• The automation (24X7 operation) unit test coverage of most modules has reached the acceptance standard.
• The TOP-IO suite for single-node operation and maintenance services has been checked and validated, except chain DB automatic incremental backup and disk automatic cleaning.
• We have upgraded the operation and maintenance services of the mining pool. The majority of the nodes have implemented the new technical and product design.
• As per the feedback we have received from several developers, it was very inconvenient to obtain the list of connected Edge nodes through the SDK API. The cache node list had issues such as backward updates. Targeted optimization is currently underway, and the first phase has been developed and validated. We expect this problem to be issued within the next two weeks.

Upcoming Activities

On May 28 (Thursday) at 19:30, TOP senior product manager Rockey will be conducting a face-to-face session from our live broadcast room and discuss the technical whitepaper. You can read the Chinese version of the technical paper here. Along with discussing the paper, Rockey will be taking questions from the community, so be sure to attend the event.
