Technical Progress

1. Open Source Project — TOP Scan — Backend
   The transition of the TOP Scan project to open source involves a detailed review of the backend codebase. Our developers are actively replacing any proprietary components with open-source alternatives to promote community collaboration. Additionally, efforts are being made to ensure backend database permissions are organized effectively to maintain data integrity and consistency with on-chain data. This initiative aims to enhance transparency, facilitate community contributions, and align backend data management practices with blockchain standards.
2. QA Process of the Cross-chain Bridge towards Cancun Upgrade
   The QA team have focused on verifying the adjustments made to the eth_call code for optimized Ethereum node interaction and the upgraded grpc calls for enhanced functionality. The accurate reading of Beacon block and Beacon state has been confirmed, and regression testing has been conducted to ensure the modifications in the relayer component for delivering block header proofs are functioning correctly. Following thorough testing and structural optimizations, the code is now undergoing final QA checks before deployment post the Cancun upgrade.
3. AI Voice Training Model Selection
   Based on TOP Chain’s foundation in the communication industry, our focus in exploring AI models has been in the areas of Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Text-to-Speech (TTS). The conversion between text and speech can bring numerous value-added services to communication, enhancing user efficiency. After experimenting with models such as Azure, Kaldi2, sherpa-onnx, and whisper, considering factors like accuracy and real-time feedback, we have chosen Kaldi2 as the foundational model for our next steps.

Open Source — TOP Scan

Since the launch of the TOP mainnet, TOP Scan has been operating steadily, providing various query functions for nodes, voters, and users of the TOP network. TOP Scan displays information from each shard, including those that support the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). Currently, TOP Scan is open source, making it convenient for community developers to engage in further development and utilization.
