Technology Progress
TOP Chain
1. The TOP mainnet V1.2.7 version has basically been upgraded (98% of the nodes have been upgraded). Note: V1.2.7 is an optimized version of mainnet TPS performance and consensus real-time performance.
2. The TOP mainnet V1.2.8 version has been developed and self-tested. Acceptance and stability improvements will be carried out in the next 2–3 weeks. It is tentatively scheduled to be released on January 30.
Note: The goal of version V1.2.8 is to optimize storage space and automatic cropping, to ensure that consensus and advanced nodes automatically crop all data, and to solve the current hard limit of the relatively small disk space of most community nodes on the main network.
3. The TOP mainnet V1.2.9 version is planned (it is expected to be launched at the end of January). The key goal of this version is to be compatible with the Ethereum RPC API specification (phase #1), allowing wallets such as MetaMask/Imtoken to support TOP Token transfers, receiving, etc.
4. The overall plan for the TOP chain platform in 2022 is basically completed. The technical committee is discussing and reconfirming its related technical landing route. The confirmed plan will be released in the community at a later date.
Activity Review
1. On December 31, 2021, the well-known anchor Dr. Niki shared the details of TOP’s mapping on Hotbit through a live broadcast on YouTube and Facebook and answered related questions for the community. Video can be found from here.
2. On January 4, TOP Network’s ambassador Chris shared his experience of investing in TOP through a video and described in detail his understanding of TOP and the potential for TOP development in the future. Check the video here.

4. Notice: accounts with less than 1,000 TOP won’t count in this event.
